COCKTAILS
PINEAPPLE & SAGE JULEP
50ml Karven Starka Vodka
10ml Honey syrup (2 :1 water and honey)
3 small chunks of fresh pineapple
3 sprigs of fresh sage
Muddle fresh pineapple and sage lightly in Julep tin or similar (glass jar) , add crushed ice, Starka and honey syrup. Gently churn/mix until well blended and top up with more ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and sprig of sage and serve.
GIN GIN MULE
40-50ml Karven Dry Gin
Angostura Bitters
3-4 Lime wedges
Ginger Beer
Muddle lime wedges in a cocktail shaker. Add a good dash of Angostura bitters, Karven Gin and top with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into either a high or lowball glass filled with ice. Top up with a good quality ginger beer and garnish with lime and/or mint
RAMBLE STAR
60ml Karven Dry Gin
30ml Lemon juice
30ml Simple syrup
3 Raspberries
Fill a highball with crushed ice. Pour gin, lemon juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with 4 cubes of ice. Shake for 5 seconds and pour into glass, top up with ice. Gently muddle raspberries and a dash of simple syrup, pour over crushed ice for marbling effect.
CORPS REVIVER NO.2
40ml Karven Dry Gin
30ml Karven Bianco Vermouth
15ml Orange liqueur
30ml Lemon juice
Dash of Absinthe
Chill a cocktail glass with ice and add a few dashes of absinthe. To a cocktail shaker add the rest of the ingredients and fill with ice. Shake for 15 seconds, remove ice from cocktail glass and strain contents from shaker. Garnish with lemon peel or citrus of choice.
STARKA VODKA MULE
50ml Karven Starka Vodka
Quality ginger beer
2-3 wedges of lime
Sprig of mint
Muddle lime wedges in a cocktail shaker. Add Karven Starka and top with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into either a high or lowball glass filled with ice. Top up with a good quality ginger beer and garnish with lime and/or mint.
GIN BEES KNEES
60ml Karven Dry Gin
30ml Honey syrup (2 :1 water and honey)
30ml Lemon juice
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass or similar. Garnish with a Lemon Myrtle leaf or citrus peel of choice.
